You haven't seen them in ages, so look ... dogs

It is a pointless blather blog you know so a person has to be careful in the typing process - not to find a subject, I mean.

Now that I look at the picture, I sure hope it's not as ickily sharp when you clicky-click to study their beautiful faces. Notice I said "when you" do; they're mine. I'm lazy and I get to see them all the damn time. Even in the breeze. Oh pay attention ... read the prior post. Anyway, I'm not about to clicky-click. Nope, of all the things I am now not going to do, clicky-click is definitely first.

I'll bet dee is so very glad I'm around to be doodling in her space on-line. And this isn't even her official doodling blog. That's how talented *I* am.

Not to beat a dead horse or anything but those dogs up there? They're on the side of workshop sheltered from the breeze. Yep, even the dogs.

Renovation itch

I've never renovated a house, and probably never will. Not one for DIY, me. Doesn't help that I'm largely incompetent when it comes to anything house-related, of course. I've never owned a house, never taken care of a house... I don't really know much about houses at all, really, so it's not very likely I'll ever renovate one.

Blogs, however...

Sometimes I just get the urge to repaint, you know? Juggle things around a bit. Make some changes to the layout. Occasionally, move altogether.

Yeah.

You might notice a change in the colour scheme today. Nothing fancy; just a shift to a different emphasis. Slightly more subtle, maybe.

I'm not sure it's doing it for me yet, though, and that might be a sign of changes to come.

We'll see.

At the moment, though, I think I'll go find something to eat. This not having breakfast on my day off thing has got to stop at some point.

Oh, and the pointless photo? Well, nothing's a better renovator than a spider. They redo their homes daily. Sometimes more often than that. They even reingest the leftovers so they can make use of the raw materials again.

Let's see Ty Pennington match that.

Really, now, don't we all feel like this sometimes

Dog tired, I mean. And don't they truly look the part. They're Labs and even though they're playing they look like Labs - all sad-faced and sleepy.

Tomorrow is the 1st of October, did you know and the darkness seems to fall with a palpable thud now ... so be cheered by the picture, dangitall.

Well, truth be told I love the dark and before having the pups around, I used to go walking at night. On purpose, even.

Walking with the dogs, however, now creeps me out - just a little bit, mind, but makes me more aware of my surroundings all the same. We shan't be analysing why this is. It just ... is.

Well, okay, I already have it figured out but do you really and truly want to visit my psyche. I didn't think so.

K, so I'm guessing you've already figured out there's not a whole lot of firing synapses on this side of the screen at the moment. Nope, not a lot of thought, random or otherwise, going on. This is where the clever person would just exit, before proving all the keys have been struck at least once and the brain is empty.

Oh, wait. Z. There, now we can quit.

Hmmm, I've had to come back several times to edit this post as blogger seems to be toying with the scale of the font so if this appears even more odd than usual as you read along at some future point (and of course it will be a future point - you're not here beside me now, are you), I didn't do it!

And that was the way it was

Surely you didn't think you could get away all this time with nary a photo of at least one dog, did you?

This photo was taken yesterday in the back garden and as you can see close-up, she is helping Mother Nature along. Just look at that forehead.

If I were to take the very same photo right now, all you would see is raindrops slithering down the lens for as promised, it is ... *sigh* ... ironing weather.

I think I'll "suit up" and go play with the pups in the park instead. I'm sure I can drag this out some more.
